Alliance Insurance has been ranked among the most admired financial service brands in Lesotho for five consecutive years, according to the prestigious Brand Africa rankings.

Limakatso Mokobocho, Manager of Public Relations and Corporate Communication at Alliance, revealed that the company was selected through a public survey conducted randomly, after which Brand Africa officially informed them of the recognition.

She attributed the consistent recognition to Alliance’s unwavering commitment to accessibility and reliability.

“Our focus has always been on making our services convenient and accessible to all Basotho. We ensure that support is always within reach, and we strive to understand the unique needs of our communities while maintaining a strong presence across the country,” Mokobocho said.

Alliance offers a wide range of tailored policies to meet the diverse needs of its clients. The company operates under key pillars including health, welfare, and education.

“In partnership with the Ministry of Health, we provide funding and support to hospitals, helping to meet urgent healthcare needs. We’re also committed to building schools in underserved communities and supplying educational resources to empower children and youth,” Mokobocho noted.

She highlighted that this multi-sectoral approach not only improves individual well-being, but also contributes to broader social development by promoting education, health, and community welfare.

Looking to the future, Alliance is working to create more employment opportunities across Lesotho.

“We’re in the process of opening a new centre in Maseru and plan to expand into other districts. This will allow residents to access job opportunities closer to home, helping to stimulate local economies and strengthen communities,” Mokobocho said.

The planned centres will not only provide jobs, but also offer training and resources to empower individuals and build skills, driving long-term economic development in the country, she added.
