The Crime Prevention, Rehabilitation & Reintegration of Ex‑Offenders Association (CRROA) and Maqoqolo Sakeng have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote crime prevention, rehabilitation, and reintegration of ex‑offenders.

The partnership, titled “Ex‑Prisoners against Crime”, will focus on empowering men through self‑control, moral conscience, and dignified conflict resolution, guided by traditional values of laola khalefo, phahamela letsoalo, and rarolla ka bokhabane.

Under the agreement, CRROA will provide rehabilitation guidance and support lawful living programmes, while Maqoqolo Sakeng will deliver men‑focused empowerment and mentorship.

The partnership will implement anger management, counselling, conflict‑resolution training, and community awareness activities, committing to mutual respect, confidentiality, non‑violence, and ethical conduct.

The partnership aims to reduce repeat offenses, strengthen community bonds, and promote responsible masculinity, contributing to Lesotho’s social fabric.
