Vodacom Lesotho has unveiled a cutting-edge computer lab at Linotšing High School in Leribe.
The donation is aimed at enhancing digital literacy and educational opportunities for students in the region.
The Friday event highlighted the importance of equipping students with essential skills for the digital age.
The new facility features high-performance desktop computers, reliable internet access, and interactive software, designed to boost students’ learning experiences.
Vodacom Lesotho manager for external affairs and policy, Katleho Pefole, emphasized the company’s dedication to transforming education through technology.
“This initiative reflects our belief in education’s life-changing potential,” Pefole stated.
Ntsilo Pitso from the Ministry of Education thanked Vodacom for their contribution, urging students to embrace this opportunity for their future.
Linotšing High School principal, ‘Masakoane Mathaba, echoed this sentiment, describing the lab as an invaluable investment in students’ futures.
A student, Rapelang Tlali, hailed the computer lab, describing it as a beacon of hope. Vodacom also recently donated to other schools, solidifying its commitment to enhancing education across Lesotho.
