First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho has broadened its network with the opening of two new branches in Maseru.
The new outlets – located at Masianokeng Lifestyle Centre and Maseru Mall – underscore the bank’s ongoing commitment to bringing financial services closer to Basotho.
This expansion follows last October’s celebration of 20 years of service in Lesotho, during which FNB operated eight branches nationwide.
At the launch, the Chief Executive Officer Delekazi Mokebe said, “The opening of these branches ensures that our clients in the southern parts of Maseru, near Masianokeng, as well as those around Maseru Mall, now have convenient access to banking services.
This expansion reflects our dedication to providing financial inclusion to all Basotho.”
Mokebe also noted that FNB’s strategy has always been to meet customers where they are, and that these new branches are a testament to that commitment.
She emphasized that the bank’s goal is to enhance financial accessibility and customer experience by offering state-of-the-art services tailored to the evolving needs of individuals and businesses, while also creating employment opportunities.
In conclusion, Mokebe reiterated FNB Lesotho’s commitment to supporting financial inclusion, economic growth, and community development through accessible banking solutions.
As the bank expands, it will continue to innovate and adapt to meet the evolving needs of its customers, reaffirming its position as a trusted financial partner in Lesotho.
The chairperson of the FNB board of directors, Mazvi Guni, said, “With the launch of these two branches, we are taking another step towards fulfilling our promise of making banking easier, safer, and more accessible for all Basotho.
“Our customers will enjoy a seamless banking experience with enhanced digital capabilities and personalised services.”
Guni indicated that the addition of these branches is expected to benefit both individuals and businesses by reducing travel time to existing facilities and delivering a more personalised banking experience.
She added that FNB Lesotho continues to embrace digital transformation while maintaining a strong physical presence.
