Global Intercessor, a 24-hour prayer platform and Higher Life Foundation, a leading philanthropic organisation which is a part of the Econet Group, have launched the second edition of the Lift Up Lesotho 7 days of Prayer Campaign.
The campaign started on July 17 and will run until July 23.
The virtual sessions aim to unite individuals from all walks of life to pray for the development and prosperity of Lesotho.
Lift Up Lesotho follows the Lift Up Africa 90 days of prayer campaign, a continent-wide period of intercession held manually by Global Intercessors to pray for Africa.
During this dedicated week of prayer, participants will focus on the diverse range of prayer points, including youth development, peace, economic growth and the proliferation of the word of God in Lesotho.
The campaign seeks divine intervention and guidance through fervent prayer to bring about positive transformation in the country.
Commenting on the Lift Up Lesotho campaign, the executive director of Higher Life Foundation Petronella Maramba said, “We are an organisation that believes in prayer.”
Maramba noted that over the year, the organisation has held the Lift Up Prayer campaigns in Lesotho and Burundi and seen remarkable results. Their intention therefore, was to continue on that trajectory.
“Lesotho holds immense significance for us at Higherlife Foundation, and we consider it essential to dedicate this focused prayer time to the country’s well-being. We invite individuals nationwide and beyond to join us in this worshipful endeavour,” she said.
Participants can join the campaign by attending two prayer sessions held daily. The first session is held at 6:30 am and the second prayer session at 8:30 pm.
To participate in the Lift-Up Lesotho campaign, interested people can follow the Global Intercessors’ Facebook and Instagram pages for details on where to log on.
