King calls for peace

King Letsie III has urged Basotho to pray to God to open their minds and hearts so the nation’s founder’s agenda is fulfilled. 

He made the call yesterday as the nation commemorates Moshoeshoe Day in Thaba Bosiu.

“We are at Thaba Bosiu’s feet, united in remembering Moshoeshoe I, our father, with respect and love,” he said. 

His Majesty emphasized the significance of the day, coinciding with Lesotho’s 60^th independence celebrations.

He urged Basotho to pray, noting this brings peace and unity.
