Panda – a new night club – is up and running in the heart of Maseru city at one of the oldest and respectable hotels.

Panda night club is housed in the same building as a raunchy club, which was hounded by a tarnished image which forced it to close doors at the end of 2022.

The vision of the night club is to offer the public an affordable yet luxurious experience while their mission is to grow this industry with style and grace.

The club opened its doors to revelers on March 10 this year. The opening was followed by two other events on Saturday and Sunday.

The club is open to people aged above 21.

One of the revelers who attended the Saturday event Nkhasi Tṧehlo said he had a great time at the club and he will definitely be frequenting the place.

Tṧehlo said he loves partying a lot and is always on the look-out for new places where he can have a good time with his friends while also socializing with other people.

“I was very impressed when I first arrived at the club, judging from the fact that it was the second day since the club opened. I was honestly expecting to see disorganized people as I have experienced these with other clubs in the past.

“However, I did not see this at all. What I saw was dedicated people who wanted to entertain and make their clients comfortable.

“I also enjoyed the music, the line-up was amazing and if they keep up with this then I will be celebrating with them every weekend because I love enjoying night club life,” he said.

He said so many clubs are opening in the country but he has never in a long time enjoyed himself like he did over the past weekend.

The deputy manager of Panda Night Club who refused to divulge his identity said there was a gap in the entertainment industry following a demise of the previous night club establishment.

He said the hotel is right at the heart of Maseru city forcing their sponsors to regard it as a suitable spot found a new club

He said Panda intends to become a household brand that can attract tourists to come and have a feel of outing in the capital of the Mountain Kingdom.

“And our partygoers can expect a different ambience of aesthetics. We have renovated the club and changed everything from the first step at the entrance to the last step you take towards the bar.

“We have high profile in-house chefs with amazing food from the “Soul Kitchen” and we also have competitive prices on our beverage list and lastly we offer premium hubblies under our in-house smoke shop known as “The Shisha Bar.”

“In terms of service, we have a list of well-known resident disc jockeys and hosts that are bound to keep out patrons on their feet dancing,” he revealed.

He indicated that what sets the club apart from the rest is the appearance and design which he said is unmatched, remarking that the greatest difference is that Panda is the only club with a room dedicated to being a Photo shoot-booth.

“Yes, we have a whole indoor booth created with the intention of releasing digital and physical pictures upon service to give our revelers a souvenir to take home. You haven’t been to Panda if you haven’t been in the booth,” he said.

He said the staff is also friendly, witty and light footed as far as service delivery is concerned.

Our wish is to prioritize their patrons with stellar services that can improve consumer confidence and trust us.

The club has a long-term goal of improving the country’s gross domestic product through tourism and corporate trust.

“We understand that we are the underdogs in this jungle and with every passing weekend and every event we grow,” he said.
