NUL strike forces bank closure

Nedbank Lesotho has announced the temporary closure of its Roma branch due to the ongoing strike by students at the National University of Lesotho (NUL).

The NUL Student Representative Council (SRC) mentioned in a circular earlier today that both undergraduate and post-graduate students had resolved to boycott classes until all students get their student cards.

The SRC added that the strike will go on until the government has clarified that it will withdrawal stop orders from post-graduate students’ monthly stipends.
